Chosen by God!
Being a part of His family is not an accident! God planned for each one of us to be His sons and daughters.
Ephesians 1:4-5 AMP “Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]”
Think about the fullness of what this Scripture is saying:
God, our Abba Fathers said, we were Chosen, He picked us out for Himself
Let that sink in fully. He picked us out! Long before our parents ever met we were on His mind. We were lovingly planned with purpose and He put destiny in our DNA! I don’t know about anyone else but I was the one who went to a team by default! It’s refreshing to know that God chose me, actually picked me out for His own!
When did He do this? Before the foundation of the world
We’re not an afterthought!
He consecrated and set apart for Him

How do we live consecrated and set apart lives?
Romans 12:1-2 MSG "So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you."
