Chosen by God!

Let's continue to look at how God sees us.

Ephesians 1:4-5 AMP “Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]”

He said we were blameless in His sight.

Colossians 1:21-23 NKJV: “And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.”

He said we were above reproach – before Him in love

Destined us, planned in love for us Jeremiah 29:10-11 MSG "...I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for."

He said we were to be adopted – revealed (Who we are is revealed through Jesus Christ. Until we know Jesus we will never know ourselves or walk in our potential.)

He said we are His own children through Jesus Christ

And why did He do all of this? Because it pleased Him and was His kind intent
