Embracing A New Season

Chosen by God!

Today is my birthday and I have been meditating on my "why" in many things in my life. I feel there's a shift happening in my life. I'm going to be putting down some things and picking up some things. Really paying attention to people's actions and not their words, especially when they don't align. Accepting that what I have to offer may not be needed or my time of serving may have expired in some arenas. We don't always have to wait for someone to tell us to go to know it's time to leave.

Today, as I come to the end of one decade, and start the beginning of another, I'm taking a look at what I've learned, what I need to hold on to, and what I need to let go of. It can't be business as usual.

As my "birth" day, my new year, and new decade has arrived, I realize I cannot put new wine (vision, execution, being all God called be to be) in old wineskins (just doing things the same old way because it's comfortable!) It's time for a change. I'm ready for a change.

"There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven." (Ecclesiastes 3:1 AMP)
