Chosen by God!

I am realizing that sometimes people don't want your help. It doesn't matter if you have the answer, can save them time, and some heartache. They want to do it their way and you have to let them no matter how much it hurts. Sometimes you have to sit back and watch people crash and burn while praying they have a soft landing! And sometimes you have to walk away because it becomes too painful to watch.

Lord, please let us be people that listen so we can avoid some of the hard lessons in life You meant for us to avoid. We know it's not meant for us to experience everything. We believe You bring others alongside of us to help us. Help us to receive the help that You provide through them. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

For your consideration:

Do you see the people in your life as gifts to be treasured or obstacles to be ignored or removed?

Have you devalued the gift God had given you because you can't see their worth?

Are you asking God for something not realizing that He sent you someone to help you with that very thing?

People mattered to Jesus, do they matter to you?

“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer.
