Chosen by God!
“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth (without guile). He will fulfill the desire of those who fear and worship Him [with awe-inspired reverence and obedience]; He also will hear their cry and will save them.” (Psalm 145:18-19 AMP)
I can stop right at, “The Lord is near!” Lord, help us to get a deeper revelation of just how near You are!
When we realize just how near He is it would stop fear from paralyzing us, cause us to be bolder, help us to believe we can do it, when everything in us thinks we can’t because it seems impossible, and so much more.
In reading this verse I realize that I stop my forward movement with analytical thoughts that truly can’t comprehend the vastness of what God can, and will, do for those who just trust Him!
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts higher than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9 AMP)
Faith Confession:
Thank You Abba, Father, for the reminder that You are near, when I call. Thank You for even wanting to fulfill the desires of my heart because I worship, love, and obey You. I know that when I do this my desires will align with Your heart and not be self-motivated. Thank You for hearing my cry and saving me, and all who cry out to You.
(YOUR NAME), remember that no matter what you’re going through, the Lord is near.
