Chosen by God!

“The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer.” (Psalm 6:9 NLT)

This is the kind of confidence we need to have every single time we pray according to His Word.

God is faithful and He watches over His Word to perform it. When our prayers align with His Word He will answer them. God is moved by His Word because He must be true to His Word. He cannot deviate from it.

“Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.” (Jeremiah 1:12 AMP)

We can pray confidently, asking anything – no limits – that is based on His Word, and He will answer us. Of course we must do our part, be obedient to His Word, giving it first place in our hearts and in our lives. This isn’t about a formula, but about relationship.

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” (I John 5:14-15 NKJV)

Relationship with God, has its privileges!

“I love the Lord, because He hears [and continues to hear] My voice and my supplications (my pleas, my cries, my specific needs). Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call on Him as long as I live.” (Psalm 116:1-2 AMP)
