Chosen by God!

"Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]." (Romans 12:1-2 AMP)

"The question is, what is our role in transformation?"

What came to mind was:

Surrender

Participation

Work

Submit

Intentionality

Obedience

Desire

Then the Lord brought this Scripture to my remembrance:

“Go down to the potter’s shop, and I will speak to you there.” So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over. Then the Lord gave me this message: “O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand. (Jeremiah 18:2-6 NLT)

This is a GREAT reminder that God can transform me no matter what I look like! He can begin again and He can give me a new beginning.

My faith confession based on Jeremiah 28:6:

"O LEISA, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand."

Thank You Abba Father for new beginnings. Thank You that no matter how much I have messed up you can transform my mess into something of substance that can be used by You.
