Jesus is Everything I Need and All That I Want

Chosen by God!

"I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]." (Philippians 4:13 AMPC)

I love this verse because it reminds me that I don't do this alone. I picture a blood transfusion when I read it because I can see the strength of Jesus flowing through me whenever I need it. Blood transfusion are usually given in life and death situations. You can't live without blood. Now, take it a step further, just think, His strength, everything we need, is available to us, because of the blood shed for us. All we have to do is stay connected to the Living Vine, Jesus Christ, and be directed by Him.

Then knowing that His strength is available to me reminds me I am not alone. There is nothing that I will ever face alone. God is always with me, always available to me. Everything I need I have in Him.

"For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]" (Hebrews 13:5 AMPC)

Then knowing I have His strength, and I am not alone, I also know the Holy Spirit is available to me as my, “Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby, Teacher.”

"But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you." (John 14:26 AMPC)

Now having all of this I can walk in His peace.

“Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]" (John 14:27 AMPC)
