Get A Grip On God

Chosen by God!

While we know what to do, sometimes life, our emotions, cause us not to do it. The fact that you're wrestling with this shows your commitment to Him and this journey.

"As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light." (Micah 7:7-8 NLT)

I love this verse because it reminds us to look to the Lord for help, which you're doing. You have confidence in Him, although right now you don't have confidence in yourself. And you know what? You don't have to. The Holy Spirit in you will empower you to do His will.

God hears your heart and will respond. Though you've fallen, right at the moment you exposed your feelings, where you're at, is the moment the enemy got his marching papers so he cannot gloat.

Now, declare the last part of the verse boldly, "For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light."

You asked us to tell you to get a grip and that's exactly what I'm going to do. Get a grip of your loving Abba, Father's, hand, and let Him walk you through this season. Get a grip of the strength available to you in Jesus Christ and declare out loud:

(YOUR NAME) has strength for all things in Christ Who empowers her [(YOUR NAME) is ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into her; (YOUR NAME) is [self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. (Philippians 4:13 AMP)

God has not relaxed His hold on you. He's right there with you!

"For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]" (Hebrews 13:5 AMPC)
