Scriptures from - "Walking in Your Calling"

Updated: Jan 7, 2020

Chosen by God!

Here's the Scriptures from the "Walking In Your Calling" series we just completed. Meditate on them, write faith confessions using them, make them personal. This will help you remain encouraged in the face of challenges.

“The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].” (Psalm 37:23 AMPC)

“I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.” (Psalm 32:8 AMPC)

“There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12 AMPC)

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9 AMPC)

“I know that You can do all things, and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained or thwarted.” (Job 42:2 AMPC)

“God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” (Numbers 23:19 NLT)

“For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who can annul it? And His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?” (Isaiah 14:27 NKJV)

“For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]” (Romans 11:29 AMPC)

“Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” (II Chronicles 20:15b NLT)

“What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]” (Romans 8:31 AMPC)

“And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.” (Philippians 1:6 AMPC)
