Chosen by God!

Sometimes we just have to look at the Word and identify words or phrases that speak to us. God's Word is rich and filled with life, empowering us to be all He has declared us to be. In His Word we find everything we need to walk in our potential and fulfill our purpose. God's Word is our road map to destiny. We must know it personally and intimately.

"And they who know Your name [who have experience and acquaintance with Your mercy] will lean on and confidently put their trust in You, for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek (inquire of and for) You [on the authority of God’s Word and the right of their necessity]." (Psalms 9:10 AMPC)

We must know His Name. In knowing His Name we learn about His character. When we know His character we can have faith in Him.

We have experience and are acquainted with His mercy through the blood of Jesus. When we choose salvation, relationship with the Father, it is His love and mercy that invites us in, giving us the opportunity to be His child.

One of the benefits of this relationship is that we can lean on Him. We don't have to face anything alone or in our own strength. We have access to His grace and power. He empowers us.

We can confidently put our trust in Him. He's trustworthy. We can depend on Him. He will never let us down.

He does not, will not, cannot forsake us when we seek Him, inquire of and for Him. He will not hide from us. He is available to us.

We have access to all of this on the authority of His Word.

Everything we need is in His Word. He left nothing to chance. That's why it's so important to know God's Word. It's only through His Word that we will live victoriously. (The supposition here is that you've given your life to Christ, accepting Him as Savior and making Him Lord. It's only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power of His Word.)
