Chosen by God!
In order to see ourselves as God sees us we must look from His perspective. Everything God thinks about us and feels for us is outlined in His Word. Our first point was, “Know Who You Are.” Our second point was, “Be Aware of Your Thoughts.” Our third point was, “What Are You Saying?” Today we will look at our fourth point:
#4 – God Has A Plan and Purpose For You.
"I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (Jeremiah 29:10b-11 MSG)
Adopt God's vision for you and His definition of who you are and what you can become, since that is your reality. It's actually your destiny if you live connected to God. Don't let man, family, friends, or anyone, place limits on you. God wants you to soar! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! You don't have to figure it out because God has already worked it out.
God's creative power flows through us. All we have to do is take the limits off of Him and soar. He's got a plan and a purpose for us. Imagine! Don't try to figure out how to make something happen, just Imagine and leave the rest to God! He'll give you the steps to turn imagination into reality.
"Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love." (Ephesians 1:4 AMPC)
He picked us out! Long before our parents ever met we were on His mind. We were lovingly planned with purpose and destiny in our DNA!
"Oh, that my steps might be steady, keeping to the course you set; I'm going to do what you tell me to do; don't ever walk off and leave me." (Psalm 119:5 & 8 MSG)
We're not alone! God will lead us. Not only that, He will plant us! He has a reserved place just for us! This means God has a purpose and a plan specifically with our individual names engraved on it. He will establish us. We don't have to strive, just trust His timing and that He will do the establishing. Relax, God's got this!
Prayer:
This is my prayer and my focus going forward Abba Father. Let my steps be steady, keeping to the course You set for me. I don't want to get off course. I am going to do what You tell me to do. I am listening for Your direction. I don't want to move without You. I know I can't do this alone. Please don't walk off and leave me alone to my own limited resources. I need You to show me Your way, the path You want me to take, so I can be in step with You. I can't do this without You, Abba Father. I surrender to You. What is my next step? Until I hear from You I will stand on the Word You have given me and continue studying while going through Your preparation process. I give thanks Father that You are in the details of my life, making me more like You. Mold me and make me what You want me to be so I can walk in Your plan and purpose for my life. I love You. I pray this prayer in faith and on the authority of the Name of Jesus. Amen.
