Count the Cost

Chosen by God!

“Is there anyone here who, planning to build a new house, doesn’t first sit down and figure the cost so you’ll know if you can complete it? If you only get the foundation laid and then run out of money, you’re going to look pretty foolish. Everyone passing by will poke fun at you: ‘He started something he couldn’t finish.’" (Luke 14:28-30 MSG)

We should always consider the cost of something before we agree to do it. Before you say yes, ask yourself if this will move you closer to walking in your divine purpose. Some things are just out and out distractions, detours, and delays. They may sound good but may not be good, for you. We are here for a purpose and our focus should always be on walking in that purpose.

Once you've asked yourself that question If the answer is no ask God if His timing allows you to make a brief detour.

Count the cost before you say yes, doing if afterwards could prove to be costly, not just for you but for everyone involved.

Make sure prayer is a part of your decision making process.

Be Encouraged! ❤
