Chosen by God!

“May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope.” (Romans 15:13 AMPC)

We must anchor everything we are, and all that we do, in Jesus. He is our firm foundation.

“I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.” (Philippians 3:12-14 MSG)

Faith Confession:

I am reaching for You, Jesus. Thank You for reaching for me. I want more of You in my life. Rain on me. Saturate me with Your thoughts, words, actions, all of You. Grant me a greater anointing in all You have called me to do. I am not an expert. I am still learning. My eye is on You, on the goal, on Jesus. I’m off and running and I am not turning back. I am not looking back. Instead I am looking forward to the new thing you are doing in my life. Everything I desire, need, is in front of me, not behind me.

“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. (Isaiah 43:18-19 MSG)

I am focused on You, what You are doing now. I’m looking forward because my hope is in You, Jesus.

“Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!” (Psalm 31:24 AMPC)
