Chosen by God!

The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely, as I have thought and planned, so shall it come to pass, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand—" (Isaiah 14:24 AMPC)

This verse gives me hope that God's purposes will stand in spite of man and our attempts to destroy His creation. It tells me if I stay anchored in Him, connected, and directed, then His promises will be manifested in my life. It tells me to fear not. Don't worry about what I see. Trust His Word, His promise will prevail. God's part is done and stands firm. It's my part I must work on with the help of His Holy Spirit.

There's nothing on earth we should want so much that we would be willing to put our eternal heritage in danger. Don’t settle for the temporary when you can have the eternal.

"For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who can annul it? And His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back? (Isaiah 14:27 AMPC)

Align yourself with God and move forward. Drop the weight that would try to hold you back. Let go of the past and move toward your future in Him. What a beautiful place to be.

“Therefore then, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection].” (Hebrews 12:1-2a AMPC)
