Iron Sharpens Iron

Chosen by God!

"Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend [to show rage or worthy purpose]." (Proverbs 27:17 AMPC)

If you're not being sharpened, or you're not sharpening others, in your relationships then maybe a change is needed. Do an inventory to make sure your relationships are life giving instead of sucking the life out of you.

“Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character.” (I Corinthians 15:33 AMPC)

We should be sharpening others or be sharpened by others. When relationships are dull they require a lot more work to maintain.

"If the ax is dull and the man does not whet the edge, he must put forth more strength; but wisdom helps him to succeed." (Ecclesiastes 10:10 AMPC)
