Chosen by God!
“And behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment; For she kept saying to herself, If I only touch His garment, I shall be restored to health.” (Matthew 9:20-21 AMCP)
Thinking about the woman with the issue of blood who was determined to change her life, her situation, by touching Jesus. Then there were those walking with Him, a part of the crowd. We only hear of one person in the crowd being healed, the woman with the issue of blood. It wasn't enough for her to just be in the crowd, she wanted to touch Jesus so she could be touched (transformed) by Jesus!
This lets me know we can walk with Jesus without touching Jesus or being touched by Jesus. How sad is that? Maybe we need to stop walking and start pressing in to touch Him!
"Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13 AMPC)
