Chosen by God!

“The Lord is pleased with his people, and he gives victory to those who are humble.” (Psalm 149:4 CEV)

Faith Confession:

Thank You Abba for showing me the key to victory – humility! Grant me a humble spirit that esteems others highly, builds them up and encourages them, always pointing them to You. I want You to always be pleased with me. I know, without a doubt, I am Yours!

“Pride leads to destruction; humility leads to honor.” (Proverbs 18:12 CEV)

“Too much pride can put you to shame. It’s wiser to be humble.” (Proverbs 11:2 CEV)

Faith Confession:

Lord, I don’t want to be destroyed or put to shame. I choose the wisdom of being humble which ultimately leads to honor.

“Be humble in the presence of God’s mighty power, and he will honor you when the time comes.” (I Peter 5:6 CEV)

Faith Confession:

Lord, I know I can do nothing without You. I know I have accomplished nothing without You. Forgive me for the many times I declared what I did without giving You glory. All I have and everything I’ve done is because of You and I give You thanks.

I can’t make anything happen with You. So I am going to stop trying and rest in You, trusting You to move on my behalf and give me direction. I submit to Your timing for my life.
