Chosen by God!
As the year comes to a close we should consider our paths and ask God to establish and order our way according to His plan and purpose for our lives. A new year looms ahead with new possibilities and opportunities. Our Abba Father specializes in new beginnings.
Be encouraged because we don’t take this journey alone!
“Your teacher will be right there, local and on the job, urging you on whenever you wander left or right: “This is the right road. Walk down this road.” (Isaiah 30:21 MSG)
Since we usually begin the New Year evaluating and setting goals, let's consider how we can deepen our intimacy with God during this year.
Let’s determine that 2018 will be the year that we taking loving God to the next level:
“Hear, O (YOUR NAME)! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one [the only God]! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being]. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be [written] on your heart and mind.” (Deuteronomy 6:4-6 AMPC)
If you make resolutions consider some resolutions, changes, that are anchored in the Word. This will not only impact us, but we will then impact everyone we come in contact with.
Let’s resolve that:

We will begin the New Year with our hearts, minds, and souls focused on God. Let’s resolve to be about our Father’s business.
We will not be easily offended.
We will be quick to forgive.
We will lead with love.
We will choose peace over strife.
People will see Jesus in us.
Our thoughts, words, and actions will reflect the heart of Jesus!
Faith Confession:
Lord, in 2018, help me to be where You want me to be, doing what You have called me to do. I don’t want to be distracted this year by doing good things and miss the God things You want me to do.
