Chosen by God!

Let's continue focusing on surrendering to God's guidance in 2018.

Surrender is a process and a challenge. We're taught to figure things out, create a plan, etc. God wants us to allow Him to be our plan, our process, and our way. Knowing when to step back is key and that, too, is part of the process. The very things that make us successful in our career are sometimes the very things that can cause us to stumble in our walk with the Lord. He doesn't need our help but He requires our obedience and cooperation. We must be submitted to the process and accept that we are under construction by the Master Builder. We have not yet become but we are becoming! Be surrendered and thankful!

Hear the voice of the Lord saying to you:

“I’ll go ahead of you, clearing and paving the road. I’ll break down bronze city gates, smash padlocks, kick down barred entrances.” (Isaiah 45:2 MSG)

I thank You Abba Father for open doors, and clear paths to those doors. In the meantime I am holding on to this promise:

"I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (Jeremiah 29:10b-11 MSG)

Faith Confession:

I believe You will show up and take care of me. I trust that You know what You are doing in every area of my life. I know You have everything planned out. Thank You for taking care of me and not abandoning me. I rejoice over the plans you have for me, to give me the future I hope for. For this I give thanks!
