Birthday Month Reflections - Day 15!

Chosen by God!

Today is the fifteenth day of my Birthday Month, New Year, New Season. I have left one year behind and have entered into a new year with new possibilities.

My focus today is the church experience!

I am always so excited to go to church and I go with great expectation of the Holy Spirit raining down on us. I also hope that the order of service would be shaken up and we wouldn’t just do what we always did.

“Then a billowing cloud filled The Temple of God. The priests couldn’t even carry out their duties because of the cloud—the glory of God!—that filled The Temple of God.” (II Chronicles 5:13-14 MSG)

Let's think about this and ask the Lord to rain down on us!

Can you imagine what it would be like if our praise caused a cloud to fill our Churches? Can you imagine what it would be like if our praise brought us to a point where we couldn't do anything but continue praising? Can you imagine what it would be like if we just let the Holy Spirit have His way and interrupt our program? All I can say is, what a time of rejoicing it would be!

I’ve experienced praise and worship that brought us to a point where we couldn’t do anything but continue the praise and worship! We just couldn’t stop! When the Holy Spirit interrupts our usual program and we followed His lead it is a time of rejoicing! What a spiritual high!

Reflection Nugget – When we invite the Holy Spirit to, “have Your way,” let’s welcome Him when He shows up and changes things!

Let’s pray for church as unusual. Let’s let go of doing things our way. Let’s truly yield to the Holy Spirit and do things His way! I hope the unusual, true move of the Holy Spirit where lives are transformed, become the usual every single time we enter the House of the Lord! After all, who wouldn’t want the Holy Spirit to run things?

Stay tuned, because God isn't finished with me yet!

Be Encouraged! ❤
