Chosen by God!

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. (Matthew 16:24 NKJV)

Have you crucified your flesh and given full control to the Holy Spirit? What area(s) in your life still needs to be surrendered to crucifixion and rebirth?

Prayer:

Lord, crucifying my flesh, denying myself is hard and painful at times, but nothing like what You went through on Calvary. Help me to remember that when I need to do something my flesh doesn't want to do. You endured the cross because of Your love for me. Let me endure my daily crosses because of my love for You. I desire to come after You. I will deny myself, with the help of the Holy Spirit, take up my cross and follow You. I'm Jesus' Name, Amen.
