Birthday Month Reflections - Day 27!

Chosen by God!

Today is the twenty seventh day of my Birthday Month, New Year, and New Season. I have left one year behind and have entered into a new year with new possibilities.

My focus today is on the manifestation of vision!

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.” (Habakkuk 2:3 AMPC)

God made specific promises about the vision – there’s an appointed time, it hastens to the end (fulfillment), it will not deceive or disappoint, and it will surely come to pass!

We’re encouraged to write the vision down so we can see it/read it daily. We’re reminded that the vision, a God given vision, will come to pass! We’re also strengthened by knowing it will not deceive or disappoint. And we’re inspired to continue no matter how long it takes because the vision has an appointed time of manifestation. It will come to pass! It must come to pass. Remember, there is a set time and an appointed time for the process, for preparation, and for its completion.

In the case of Abraham it didn’t look like the vision God gave him of being a father of many nations would materialize. In fact it took years, so long that in the natural, the possibility of the vision ever coming to pass seemed impossible. But God! When the vision is God breathed then it must happen. God is not bound by time or space.

“Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” (Genesis 18:14 NKJV)

A year later Isaac, the child of promise, was on the scene.

“The Lord is not slow about His promise” (II Peter 3:9a NASB)

God’s timing is perfect timing. There is a set time, an appointed time, a specific season, in God! When it’s your due date you will deliver the vision God has assigned for you!

You see, writing the goals, making them plain, keeping them before you is what is going to inspire you to continue when the challenges come. No birth happens without travail. In order to have a resurrection there had to be a Calvary. Trust that God will make your plans a success when the plan is anchored in Him.

“And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!” (Psalm 90:17 NLT)

Let this be our prayer:

“All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change comes.” (Job 14:14 KJV)

Stay tuned, because God isn't finished with me yet! And I’m so thankful that He is not! The best is yet to come!

Be Encouraged! ❤
