Chosen by God!

Today is the thirtieth day of my Birthday Month, New Year, and New Season. I have left one year behind and have entered into a new year with new possibilities.

My focus today is on prayer!

“My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.” (II Chronicles 7:14 AMPC)

Yes one prayer, combined with faith, based on the Word of God, can make a difference. So just imagine what can happen if we all stopped and prayed for our nation when we read this post!

Are you called by His Name?

Then:

Humble yourself

Seek Him

Crave Him

Require Him as your vital necessity

Turn from your wicked ways

Now, PRAY!

Prayer:

Lord today I humble myself before You to pray. I am seeking You because I crave You, and require You as my vital necessity. I love You Father. I am praying for the lost and for the nation. Put laborer's in the paths of the lost. Take the blinders off of their eyes so they can see the destructiveness of their choices. Heal our nation and turn our hearts back to You, "In God we trust!" Convict us to turn from our wicked ways Abba Father, forgive us of our sin, and heal our land. Thank You Father for hearing my cry. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

"The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]." (James 5:16b AMPC)

Cultivate a spirit of expectancy as you pray and watch God exceed your expectations!

"No one's ever seen or heard anything like this, never so much as imagined anything quite like it— What God has arranged for those who love him." (I Corinthians 2:9 MSG)

Prayer changes things and it changes people, both the person praying and the one(s) being prayed for. The more we pray, and the less we complain, the more of God's power will be unleashed in the earth. It's only then that people will see just how great our God is!

Pray without ceasing.

Stay tuned, because God isn't finished with me yet! And I’m so thankful that He is not! The best is yet to come!
