Chosen by God!

We can be confident in our prayers as children of God:

“And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.” (I John 5:14 AMPC)

This is why we pray the Word:

“I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.” (Jeremiah 1:12 AMPC)

“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:12 AMPC)

There are two conditions to answered prayer:

“If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.” (John 15:7 AMPC)

1. If you abide in Me

To abide in Jesus means to constantly flow in Spiritual communication with Him, through fellowship with Him, worshiping Him, prayer, and fasting.

2. If My Words abide in you

We know the Word is really inside us when it directs our thoughts and actions.

Here’s how you can test whether or not the Word is in you. What is the first thing that comes out of your mouth when you are under pressure? Who you really are and what you believe comes out when life challenges you.
