Our words are powerful and we must be careful with them.
This is a Scripture I pray regularly so my words will please God and others:
"Take control of what I say, O Lord, and guard my lips." (Psalm 141:3 NLT)
I need God's help to make sure my words bring life and encouragement to those I speak to and the words I say about myself! I must align my words with God's Word or be quiet! I can't allow my feelings to lead because they can be fickle and don't always align with God's plan and promises!
