Chosen by God!

If we are not loving people then we missed Jesus' entire message!

“Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.” (John 13:34-35 MSG)

Want to bring joy to Jesus? Really? Then chose love no matter what!

“I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:11-13 NLT)

Loving others costs. Are you willing to give up your agenda to fulfill someone else’s? Are you willing to serve instead of waiting to be served? Are you willing to celebrate others when no one celebrates you? These are real life, practical life, examples of laying down your life for someone else.

“You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I Am], He may give it to you. This is what I command you: that you love one another.” (John 15:16-18 AMPC)

Jesus chose us and He has commanded us to love. That means, love is not optional! Love is our purpose – always! Loving others shows the world Jesus. Loving others allows us to not only bear fruit but opens the door for answered prayer.
