Chosen by God!

We must make sure we’re in the right company. Casual connections can detour our process and even abort what God is doing in our lives! Do you know those connected to you, especially those responsible for helping you to grow, to mature, spiritually? Do you honor them or are you a stumbling block to their progression and your own?

"And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves." (I Thessalonians 5:12-13 NKJV)

We must stop disqualifying those that God has qualified. We must learn to recognize and honor those who God has placed around us. We must take a moment and know those that labor among us. Let's bless them by cooperating instead of causing division.

"Now also we beseech you, brethren, get to know those who labor among you [recognize them for what they are, acknowledge and appreciate and respect them all]—your leaders who are over you in the Lord and those who warn and kindly reprove and exhort you. And hold them in very high and most affectionate esteem in [intelligent and sympathetic] appreciation of their work. Be at peace among yourselves." (I Thessalonians 5:12-13 AMPC)
