Encouragement Nugget - Prepare to be Shifted!

Chosen by God!

"Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3 The five who were foolish didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps, 4 but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil." (Matthew 25:1-4 NLT)

There is a shift going on in the body of Christ and if you're not tuned in and prepared you will miss it. When Yahweh God moves it is the prepared vessels that flow in sync with Him. Think of the 10 virgins with the oil. Five had extra oil, just in case they ran out, and five did not bring extra. The Bible calls the first group wise and second group foolish. This caused the five without the oil to be out of place when the shift happened. Align yourself with the wise virgins and be prepared.

"When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep." (Matthew 25:5 NLT)

Do not allow delays to cause you to skimp on preparation. This is not the time to be sleeping! What Yahweh has called you to do He needs you to do immediately. Walk in a sense of urgency. Make God's assignment(s) your priority. Be available.

A big ripple in my shift came yesterday while strategically talking to a friend whom I haven't spoken to in a long while! When Yahweh tells you to reach out to someone do it and do it immediately! I thought I was calling for one reason but Yahweh had a whole different agenda. I think this applies to both of us.

What I got yesterday was preparation for now and later. I'm walking in it today. A new way of studying, going deeper and more intimately in the Word of Yahweh! Shoring up my foundation in preparation for the flood that's coming to my ministry.

Yes, there is a shift. In order to participate in it you must be prepared. Lack of preparation will cause you to miss what God is doing. Don't get left behind! When you declare a shift, or a new season, make sure you're doing your part to be prepared for the shift, the new season.

(See Matthew 25:1-13 for the Parable of the Ten Virgins.)
