Chosen by God!

“Watch where you’re going! Stick to the path of truth, and the road will be safe and smooth before you.” (Proverbs 4:26 TPT)

“God, all at once you turned on a floodlight for me! You are the revelation-light in my darkness, and in your brightness I can see the path ahead.” (Psalm 18:28 TPT)

When we are connected to God we must choose to be directed by God. He created us on purpose for purpose. It’s important that we seek His heart on what we should be doing.

Questions we must ask ourselves to evaluate where we are and we are going:

Am I on the right, and true, path?

Am I doing what You want me to do, Abba Father?

Do I need to make a course correction?

Sometimes we just need to stop and check in with God to see if we are doing what He called us to do the in the way He wants us to do it. Sometimes we can begin on the right path and get detoured without even realizing it. That doesn’t mean we are not doing good things, maybe even great things, it just means we might not be doing what God wants us to do in this moment, in this season.

Your teacher will be right there, local and on the job, urging you on whenever you wander left or right: “This is the right road. Walk down this road.” (Isaiah 30:21 MSG)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Lord, help me to be where You want me to be, doing what you have called me to do. I don’t want to be distracted by doing good things and miss the God things You created me to do. I want to live my life in a way that honors You and brings glory to Your Name.

As we live our lives let this be our heartfelt desire:

“Lord, direct me throughout my journey so I can experience your plans for my life. Reveal the life-paths that are pleasing to you.” (Psalm 25:4 TPT)
