Chosen by God!

“Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.” (Matthew 11:29 TPT)

Join – to set or bring one thing in contiguity with another; to couple; to connect; to combine; to associate; to unite in concord; to be contiguous, close or in contact (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

If you need lasting refreshment and rest you will find it by joining your life with Jesus. Spend time learning His way of being and doing by spending time in His Word. He promises to teach you when you join your life to His.

Make this your goal, your heart’s desire:

“But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” (Matthew 6:33 AMPC)

All these things you’re concerned about (mentioned in Matthew 6:25-32), that God already knows you have need of will be given to you. Put your focus, and your heart on, first and foremost, Jesus and He will take care of everything else!
