Chosen by God!

“And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed.” (Joshua 1:9 MSG)

Spend time in the Word. Don’t take it for granted. Keep it on your mind always.

God specifically asks us in this verse to:

Ponder – to weigh in the mind; to view with deliberation; to examine (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

Meditate – to dwell on anything in thought; to contemplate; to study; to turn or revolve any subject in the mind; to intend; to have in contemplation; to think on (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

Practice – frequent or customary actions; use; customary use; application; skillful or artful management (Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary)

And when you do these things you will have His promise that you will get where you’re going and you’ll have success.

Let this be your mission where the Word of God is concerned:

“Take care you don’t stray from the straight path, the way of truth, and you will safely reach the end of your road.” (Proverbs 4:26 The Voice)
