Chosen by God!

“Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.” (Ephesians 6:13-18 MSG)

SCRIPTURAL PRAYER:

Prepare us Father to stand firmly anchored in our faith and trust in You. Remind us that we are not in this battle alone. We look to You for help and will use the weapons You have provided. We rejoice in the midst of battle because we know that we have the victory. We apply Your Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation to every area of our lives. Your Word is our weapon and it cannot fail. We know prayer is essential and critical to this ongoing warfare and our victory. We commit to pray long and hard until we walk in our victory. We pray for our brothers and sisters. Keep them strong. Unite us in faith. Our eyes are open and on You as we encourage one another to stay the course. We declare that no one will be lost or left behind.

We pray this prayer in the authority and the power of Jesus Christ our Advocate Who sits at the right hand of God our Father to intercede on our behalf. Amen.
