We are destroyed by a lack of knowledge. It's critical to choose your church based on Holy Spirit prompting not your emotions. Our emotions can't be trusted. And when you get there STUDY the Word for yourself! Sunday service and mid-week Bible study is not enough to grow you up and make you spiritually mature.
You can't just summarily trust someone because they say they are a preacher, teacher, evangelist, etc.! Check their fruit! Jesus said, you will know a tree by its fruit! Too many are leading sheep astray, and there is a price they will pay. Don't let it be your soul! People need a relationship with God! If the church isn't teaching the uncompromised Word of God, emphasizing discipleship, and relationship, with God, and with a heavy emphasis on prayer RUN!
