Wow! I need to really think before I speak or stay silent. Will my words bring life, encouragement, edification, or joy? If I can’t answer yes then maybe it might be best to be quiet. Even if the other person continues to talk words that are destructive, hurtful, and more. I’m responsible for my words, not theirs. God is my defense.
