Treasured by God!
It's because we've done nothing all along that we found ourselves right where we are! Too many were too busy building their little kingdoms and increasing their followers to lift up Jesus. His Word tells us if He be lifted up He will draw all men. Well, obviously, He isn't been lifted up effectively!
As I've said many times before, the church, some churches, too many churches, are too concerned with butts in seats than they are with souls in heaven. They are too focused on the right now rather than eternity.
This is why closing the buildings impacted people's perception of church so much, and isn't that a sad indictment of us? People were declaring the church is closed without understanding they/we are the church, not the building! We don't need a building! Sadly, it was tied to a building and not to the Savior or His command to go and make disciples. We got too comfortable staying! Even sadder it was about religion and not relationship.
This is why the world is in the shape it's in. The church is not doing its job! And in the midst of all this chaos the church is fighting each other! Satan can sit back and relax because we are doing his job for him!
WAKE UP! LIVES ARE AT STAKE! We are focused on the wrong thing! Go familiarize yourselves with the story of Mary and Martha! Busyness doesn't mean effectiveness!
