Treasured by God!
JUST SO YOU KNOW:
I'm about encouragement. I'm about the Word of God. I'm about loving God and loving people. Please don't mistake my heart for God and deep love for Him as weakness. And please don't be surprised when I share my heart on issues. We don't have to agree but we do need to talk so we can heal our land.
I'm not arguing with anyone about what I believe or how I feel about current events that are really ongoing events that have been going on for way too long. I'm not letting anyone hijack my posts for their agenda unchallenged. I'm not letting anyone tell me what I feel, or how I should feel, if they have not been in my shoes and subjected to systemic racism, oppression, and marginalization. You cannot possibly know the many feelings and emotions it invokes for trying to live while black in America if this is not your reality.
I will do all I can to tell my story, share my feelings, in a way that honors God, but I will not be silenced, muzzled, intimidated, or ridiculed. Jesus spoke the truth in love and I will do the same, even when that truth is painful.
If anything I've said bothers you, please and I mean this respectfully and in love, unfriend, unfollow, delete, or block me because I don't want to argue with anyone. I will discuss respectfully but no other way. I'm sick of this.
