Chosen by God!

“Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.” (John 13:34-35 MSG)

God didn't say we had to love those that agree with us! He commanded us to love one another. That's inclusive!

"Just because a Christian won't support something, doesn't mean that they hate the people involved in it."

This says it perfectly! People need to stop jumping to conclusions that not agreeing, or supporting, something means we hate the people involved. I can love you and disagree with you. And because I love God, AND love you, I won't compromise my beliefs to make you feel good about yours! I am not asking you to compromise your beliefs. Just know, that your beliefs in no way make me feel bad about mine!

So why can't both sides of the argument walk in love, agreeing to disagree? It's not a matter of right or wrong. It's a matter of faith. I will not be legislated into compromising my beliefs just like I won't be legislated into hate. God commands me to love everyone and with the help of His Holy Spirit I will love everyone.
