PRAY!

“Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly]” (I Thessalonians 5:17 AMPC)

To live in God’s will, we are to pray for one another, particularly when we face difficult challenges in our lives.

“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.” (Philippians 4:6 AMPC)

Prayer applies to every aspect of our lives and should be done regularly. No matter what we face, prayer is the answer. There is nothing too big or too little for prayer. The best gift we can give anyone, especially those in the Body of Christ, is to pray for them.

“Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].” (James 5:16 AMPC)

When we pray for ourselves and others, no matter what the issue is we have God’s promise of peace. While we may not see the answer manifest immediately, we can live in His peace as we wait for His promises to be fulfilled in our lives. He will guard our hearts and minds when we live in Him.

“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7 NLT)

No matter what the problem is, prayer is the answer!

“Each morning let me learn more about your love because I trust you. I come to you in prayer, asking for your guidance.” (Psalm 143:8 CEV)
