God gave me a life-transforming adventure this summer. A 10 day trip that turned into two months away from home and routine! Anyone who really knows me knows the impact of what I said and the cost. The Lord spoke this into my spirit decades ago, "I want you to freefall in Holy Spirit." I didn't fully know what that meant then! Type "A" recovering professional here, who always has a plan and my plans have backup plans! To just be, without a plan, schedule, or anything familiar was foreign to me. No way would I have left my house intentionally for two months! That would have been out of my comfort zone! I wouldn't have done it. Period! God knows His children. He really does order our steps. The two months happened naturally and seamlessly. A beautiful gift from Abba Father. I can't put into words the impact of this trip but I am not the same woman that left Houston on July 28th. (Heads up, that means interactions with me won't be the same either! I'm not who you thought you knew before!) Again, those that really know me will recognize the differences and fully understand what I'm saying. My perspective has changed, my focus is sharpened, and I'm walking in a new season. I'm excited about where God is taking me and I'm cooperating fully with Him! I feel like a child holding my Daddy's hand skipping by His side as He leads me on an enjoyable adventure. "For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away. A time to search and a time to quit searching. A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak."
