BE INTENTIONAL IN YOUR THINKING!

“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” (Philippians 4:8-9 MSG)

Look at the promise attached to our thoughts – God is with us harmonizing our lives. Intentional thinking is critical to walking with God and in your purpose. Your thoughts guide your words and actions. How you think determines what you will become. Your thoughts can propel you to greatness or keep you stagnant, accomplishing nothing while impacting no one. It's up to you!

“Words satisfy the mind as much as fruit does the stomach; good talk is as gratifying as a good harvest. Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose” (Proverbs 18:20-21 MSG)

The creative power of words begins with a thought. Remember death and life are in the power of the tongue. It begins with a thought. Then thoughts become words. Then words become actions and before you know it, you're fully involved. What you think about is driving the course of your life! We must continually think about what we are thinking about!

The creative power of words begins with a thought.

So, what are you thinking about? Are your thoughts moving you forward or holding you bound, making you ineffective?

We must think about what we are thinking about. It will change your life. The question is, in which direction? Your words will make the choice.

FAITH CONFESSION:

I continually think about what I am thinking about by practicing intentional thinking. I won't allow unproductive thoughts to occupy space in my mind or heart. My thoughts align with what the Word of God says.

Be Encouraged! ❤
