BIRTHDAY MONTH CHRONICLES! (Day 5)

Yes! Let the celebrations continue. It's my Birthday Month! I'm celebrating all month, yes, every single day!

Today I’m thinking about Divine Connections, the people God has connected me to and the impact they’ve had on my life and the impact I’ve had on their lives. I’m thankful that God blessed me with great relationships. Some connections have been seasonal, some temporary, and some have been longer, meaning we’re still connected, still impacting each other’s lives.

This Scripture has always been the building block for lasting relationships for me. Being able to recognize the importance of relationships, friendships, marriage, etc., has helped me to place value on maintaining those connections. I don’t take them for granted.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good [more satisfying] reward for their labor; For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie down together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone? And though a man might prevail against him who is alone, two will withstand him. A threefold cord is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 AMPC)

While I’ve mentioned this before I can’t talk about Divine Connections without talking about “The Lord’s Gang.” (Katharyn and Bernice) We have been there for each other through many challenges and many celebrations, encouraging, loving, and caring for each other. We are real with each other. We listen and speak the truth in love while supporting each other.

"Oil and perfume make the heart glad; So does the sweetness of a friend’s counsel that comes from the heart." (Proverbs 27:9 AMPC)

Life was not meant to be lived alone. We need each other. Through friendship comes balance, especially when our friends are straight forward, telling us the truth in love. They may not always say what we want to hear but they will always say what we need to hear! Our emotions can lead us in the wrong direction, but sound counsel is priceless!

"Where there is no [wise, intelligent] guidance, the people fall [and go off course like a ship without a helm], But in the abundance of [wise and godly] counselors there is victory." (Proverbs 11:14 AMPC)

I have learned the importance of friends that are willing to stand with you, laugh with you, cry with you, listen to you, and then help you get back up to live life God's way. I have learned the blessing of godly friends. It doesn't mean we always agree. It means we always love and point one another to Jesus in the midst of everything that is going on in our lives.

Today’s blessing was a God idea of how I can better serve people and be a blessing to them. I will be unveiling this new opportunity soon. I am really excited about this. I started writing last night and still have more to do. Can’t wait to make this offer to you all!

Stay tuned because God isn't finished with me yet!

Be Encouraged! ❤
