“In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul.” (Psalm 138:3 NKJV)
God has given us everything we need to stand boldly for Him. All we have to do is ask Him to make us bold. Because of this we are not ordinary but extraordinary in Christ. People will be amazed by our security in Christ. Our boldness brings honor to His Name.
“The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.” (Acts 4:13 NLT)
We must decide to obey God in all circumstances no matter what the cost may be to us. Our love for Him must be greater than our need for people, approval, or popularity.
But Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than any human authority.” (Acts 5:29 NLT)
FAITH CONFESSION:
Lord, it is my prayer that others see You in my words and actions! Let me be a reflection of the glory of being in Your Presence. Thank You that time with You makes the ordinary extraordinary!
I am bold in the Lord! Thank You for using ordinary people with no special training in the Scriptures. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit Who empowers me to boldness and revelation knowledge as I study Your Word. It is my heart’s desire to be recognized as a woman (man) who has been with Jesus!
