BUILDING FAITH!

One of the most important goals you can have for 2023 is to develop a stronger, more productive faith life. Everything God does for you, or requires from you, is grounded in faith. What you believe is what will manifest in your life.

Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith [your trust and confidence in My power and My ability to heal] it will be done to you.” (Matthew 9:29 AMPC)

The more you hear the Word the stronger your faith will become.

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17 NKJV)

Faith is like a muscle. The more you use it the stronger it becomes. However, the opposite is true also. If you don't use it then it becomes weak. Keep exercising your faith so when you need to face a Goliath moment you'll be like David and run toward your giant, instead of cowering in fear, murmuring, and complaining like the rest of Israel did.

“God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” (Romans 12:3b NKJV)

We all begin at the same place in faith. Where we grow in our faith is up to us!

Do you want to please God? Grow your faith and then walk in it fearlessly.

"But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]." (Hebrews 11:6 AMPC)

How do you build your faith?

  • Spend time in God’s Word.

  • Study and meditate on the Word.

  • Speak the Word.

  • Pray the Word.

What are you doing with your faith?

"Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]." (Hebrews 11:1 AMPC)

"For we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]. (II Corinthians 5:7 AMPC)

"But someone will say [to you then], You [say you] have faith, and I have [good] works. Now you show me your [alleged] faith apart from any [good] works [if you can], and I by [good] works [of obedience] will show you my faith." (James 2:18 AMPC)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Lord give me faith that fastens on to Your promises and pulls them into reality. Give me faith that makes me strong even when I am weak. Speak courage into me to become Your mighty warrior. Let me do the greater things that Jesus said He would do in His Name. Give me enduring faith so I never deny You in any circumstances.

I will guard and protect my faith by keeping Your Word ever before me. It is my heart’s desire to please You.

Be Encouraged! ❤
