We must learn to celebrate each other. Your light doesn't diminish because someone else’s light is shining. The combined light makes the pathway brighter and more inviting. Let me reassure you, God cannot, will not, does not, run out of blessings! There's enough for all of us! We are not a threat! We are not the enemy. Don't disqualify yourself by wrong thinking and words when someone is blessed. "I don’t know about you, but I’m running hard for the finish line. I’m giving it everything I’ve got. No lazy living for me! I’m staying alert and in top condition. I’m not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself." (1 Corinthians 9:26-27 MSG) If we, the Body of Christ, did more celebrating there would be more promotions! God doesn't reward envy, jealousy, malicious words, backbiting, etc. He rewards obedience, unity, walking in love, faith, and so much more found in His Word. He's given us His blueprint so we can walk in the victory purchased on Calvary. "Make a clean break with all cutting, backbiting, profane talk. Be gentle with one another, sensitive. Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32 MSG) We must stop trying to determine if someone deserves a blessing. We must stop questioning who God positions and where He positions them. We must let go of cancerous thoughts, words, and actions that steal, kill, and destroy others. Instead, choose the abundant life Jesus came to give us. It's in unity that God commands the blessing. Maybe the reason we're not walking in power is because we're not walking in unity. Celebrate others and when it's your turn others will celebrate you.
