CHANGE - AN ADVENTURE WITH GOD!

Updated: Aug 29, 2022

“To be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:23-24 NIV)

Attitude – a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior (Oxford Dictionary)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Thank You Lord for making me new in the attitude of my mind, I know attitude impacts everything. In You I can have a settled way of thinking, speaking, and acting. Your Word is my anchor. It settles me because Your Word is truth and You do not change.

“For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].” (II Corinthians 1:21 AMPC)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Because I am created new in Jesus, I put on my new self who is created to be like You in true righteousness and holiness. Thank You Jesus for paying the price for my sin so I could be approved and acceptable and in right relationship with God, our Father. Thank You Abba Father for Your plan and Your goodness that allows me to walk in righteousness through the blood of Jesus.

“Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19 AMPC)

FAITH CONFESSION:

Lord, help me to let go of the things of old and embrace change. I want to be a part of Your new thing. Use me Lord, I’m available to You.

“God Himself doesn’t change, but He’s always working in our lives – and His work involves transformation. Be assured that God is going to allow something in your life to change.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)

FAITH CONFESSION:

You, Abba Father, remain constant in character and true to Your Word. How You do things will vary but the results will speak to Your character, Your Word, and Your love for me.

Abba, I welcome the new things You are doing. I am ready to have a life-transforming adventure with You. I know that any changes You bring my way serves a purpose. I believe change provides positioning for my next step because I know You waste nothing. You are a God of purpose, and I was created on purpose for Your purpose.

In the meantime, I’m going to hold on to this promise of direction from Your Word and I won’t make it difficult for You to lead me where I’ve not been before:

I DECLARE:

I am embracing change and I am doing it joyfully while trusting You Lord.

Be Encouraged! ❤
