CHRONICLES FROM THE PORCH - EXTRA EDITION!

I'm participating in the 5 Day Chart Your Course Challenge via John and Lisa Bevere. I want to share my reflection on the SECOND day, which was yesterday. I pray it blesses you.

Day Two:

More power unleased and a lot of questions to sit with and bring to the Father. Still sitting. Still pondering.

"This hardship is because the enemy knows the potential placed on your life and is trying to combat that." (Arden Bevere)

I had to ask myself, if the enemy sees me a a threat why don't I really believe I'm a threat? I have to raise the value of my untapped potential and keep moving it so it can spring forth! When I do that I can, as Lisa Bevere said, "Live from the position of a daughter of God!" I will add, for real. This head knowledge must become heart knowledge!

The enemy doesn't care who I was, although he wants me to park there, his attacks are targeting, "who I'm becoming!" "The enemy wants to undermine who I am becoming!" (Lisa Bevere)

"God says, you are what's been done for you!" (Lisa Bevere) Now this is where I need to park, possibly set up camp and stay awhile until it become rhema to me.

My Faith Confession based on Day 2's challenge:

Abba, let me embrace the hardships that come my way and see them to completion. I know you are working it out for my good and it will ultimately bring You glory. I will not quit when things get hard and seem tumultuous instead I will keep my eyes on You, the Author and Finisher of my faith. If you allowed it then I need it for character building so I can become more like Jesus.

From this day forth I will see the potential You've placed in me. I will nurture and cultivate it as you direct. I will not believe the lies of the enemy. I will side with Your Truth as revealed in Your Word. I am who You say I am. Nothing, or no one, gets to define who I am or to set my value. You've already done this.

Thank You Abba Father, that I am becoming. I am not who I see or even all that I see. In You I am so much more.

I hear the Lord saying, “I will stay close to you, instructing and guiding you along the pathway for your life. I will advise you along the way and lead you forth with my eyes as your guide. So don’t make it difficult; don’t be stubborn when I take you where you’ve not been before. Don’t make me tug you and pull you along. Just come with me!” (Psalms 32:8‭-‬9 TPT)
