“Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer.” (Romans 12:12 AMPC)
Hope – elpís, el-pece'; from a primary ἔλπω élpō (to anticipate, usually with pleasure); expectation (abstractly or concretely) or confidence: — faith, hope. (Strong’s G1680)
Tribulation – thlîpsis, thlip'-sis; from G2346; pressure (literally or figuratively): — afflicted (-tion), anguish, burdened, persecution, tribulation, trouble. (G2347)
Constant – proskarteréō, pros-kar-ter-eh'-o; from G4314 and G2594; to be earnest towards, i.e. (to a thing) to persevere, be constantly diligent, or (in a place) to attend assiduously all the exercises, or (to a person) to adhere closely to (as a servitor):—attend (give self) continually (upon), continue (in, instant in, with), wait on (continually).
FAITH CONFESSION:
Abba Father, in hope I anticipate with pleasure, with great expectation, and confidence in You. I am firmly, steadfastly fixed in trusting You. Because of this I can be patient, calmly enduring suffering, and tribulation without murmuring or being discontent. I am earnestly praying diligently for Your will to be done in me and through me. I can do this because I find my strength in You.
FAITH CONFESSION:
“I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].” (Philippians 4:13 A"MPC)
“Stay connected to your Source for the renewal of your purpose, faith, and strength, and you will be able to persevere to victory. God is in the One who planted your life’s purpose within you in the beginning. He has invested Himself in your dreams, and He will bring it to pass.” (Dr. Myles Munroe)
Connection is key. Being connected changes everything in our favor. Connection bears fruit because apart from God we can do nothing. Connection is established and maintained through prayer.
“If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.” (John 15:7 AMPC)
We honor God when we bear fruit.
“When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.” (John 15:8 AMPC)
FAITH CONFESSION:
Lord, I need to always be connected to You. You are my power source and my encouragement. Most importantly, You are always there and You love me unconditionally.
“For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]” (Hebrews 13:5b AMPC)
“Israel, out looking for a place to rest, met God out looking for them!” God told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love! (Jeremiah 31:3 MSG)
