CREATING AN ETERNAL FOCUS!

Consider some resolutions, changes that are anchored in the Word. This will not only impact you, but it will then impact everyone you come in contact with.

You must change your perspective!

In 2023 keep your eyes on the eternal and not the temporary:

“So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.” (II Corinthians 4:18 AMPC)

“Because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.” (Ii Corinthians 4:18 TPT)

When our focus is on things eternal, wanting God and what God wants more than we want anything else or anyone else, then our actions will align with His Word. There will be a time when our health may fail, and our spirit may grow weak but God remains the strength of our hearts. As long as we have Him we have everything. He is ours forever. No one, nothing can change that.

"He gives strength to the weary, And to him who has no might He increases power. Even youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired." (Isaiah 40:29-31 AMP)

Join me in shifting from the temporary to the eternal by:

Choosing to make the shift in thoughts, words, and actions from the temporary, things here, to the eternal, things that God commands as outlined in His Word.

Asking yourself when making decisions, how will this impact eternity?

Use the same criteria when the enemy brings opportunities to get offended or angry – will whatever the issue is matter in light of eternity?

Will this bring me closer to my Divine purpose?

When we focus on the eternal then we will walk in power that makes a difference in our lives, and the people we come in contact with. Eternal focus is God focus. Eternal focus syncs our thoughts, words, and actions with the heart of God, our Father.

“So we do not set our sights on the things we can see with our eyes. All of that is fleeting; it will eventually fade away. Instead, we focus on the things we cannot see, which live on and on.” (I Corinthians 4:18 The Voice Translation)

Set, fix your heart on things eternal and hold on to God's unchanging hand!

What is going on around us is not as important as what is going on in us. If we keep our focus on God, what is eternal, then nothing that happens on earth can derail our final destination. Our victory in Him is secure.

FAITH CONFESSION:

Lord, I thank You that You are who I have and all I need. I desire you more than anything on earth. No matter what happens to me here, my eternity is sealed and secured by the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank You that we share an intimate relationship and an unbreakable bond. You are mine and I am Yours. You, Abba Father will always remain the strength of my heart. You are mine forever. Nothing, or no one can change that.

Be Encouraged! ❤
