DIGGING DEEPER INTO ISAIAH 40:31!

Updated: Oct 3, 2022

The Lord is still dealing with Isaiah 40:31 in my life. Going to sit with this Scripture some more! Can't seem to let it go. God keeps sending it in my line of sight in multiple ways.

"But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind." (Isaiah 40:‬31 MSG)

"But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired." (Isaiah 40:31 AMPC)

"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31 NLT)

I must sit a little longer with this Scripture. Ponder it some more. Look deeper at the words it contains. It's worth my time and effort because I know there's more, He wants to show me, and I want all He has for me.

There is fresh oil, new insight, and anointing to be found in the Word because the Word is alive. The more time we spend in His Word, and the longer we live, the more it comes alive - speaking, impacting, and transforming our lives. Just because you heard it before doesn't mean it's not speaking to your circumstances now! Selah! [Pause and calmly think of that.]

What Word of God keeps showing up in your life? Have you taken the time to sit with it and ask God to show you why you see that Scripture everywhere? Trust me, He's trying to get your attention! There's something He wants you to know!

It's been my experience that when I see a particular Scripture a lot, I need to pay attention because there's something God wants me to know, to do, or to be prepared for! Then to see an actual eagle flying a little while ago, I've got to hunker down and seriously meditate on it. I don't want to miss anything God is saying or doing!

"God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what." (Hebrews 4:12‭-‬13 MSG)

I MUST:

  • Pay attention.

  • Trust.

  • Focus or refocus.

  • Listen carefully.

  • Don't miss Him.

  • Obey.

  • Remember God is speaking!

His Word is rich with truth, instruction, and direction. We must take the time to mine the nuggets of truth, instruction, and direction He has provided for us. While we study, we wait, we trust, we obey, we get strengthened, empowered, and prepared for our next step on the road to victory.
